Hey guys!
It’s been a while since I’ve updated on here and I’m sorry about that! I’ve found out something about myself…when there is a LOT going on in my life writing seems to go on the back burner. For some, it’s what they use as catharsis to get through the stress. For me, I have TONS of ideas that move through my head and I just type out the thoughts in a quick note on my phone and push the writing to a later time.
The truth is, I love writing and the whole process of it. The places I go to write, the sound of the keys on the keyboard, the drink I have in hand, the zone I get in. Â So, if I can’t sit down with my thoughts for a long period of time and use it as a time to relax my brain, it just doesn’t happen. It’s like I crave the process and setting just as much as the writing itself. Since it’s not my full-time job, I crave these fun moments but… if there are 1,000 things on my to-do list, I just don’t allow myself that “fun” until the right time.
I know, how mean of me, right?! Haha!
I recently moved so my world has been {literally} packed up, moved, and unpacked over the past few weeks! It’s amazing what you discover about yourself during a moving process!
So all this to say, I have lots of thoughts going on in my head and I’m excited to get them out to you as this Spring unfolds. Thank you for always being so kind to read my thoughts even if this blogger isn’t as “bloggy” as she should be at times. Being able to juggle my full time job, moving, appointments left and right, volunteering, and having a social life is a great adventure for me 🙂
Is juggling hard for you too? Do you have new things in your life that you’ve had to prioritize and / or reorganize your life around?
Let’s encourage each other to keep moving ahead and keep our joyous hearts!
From my joyous heart to yours,
Mandy
Agreed! I just moved this past weekend, any ideas when all the boxes will be unpacked? I am so sick of looking at them! I just want to have my life back!!!
& writing. I wrote a to-do list and on there was “blog” ~ completely understand. Us corporate day job girls have lots to balance, that’s for sure!
Sheri,
My heart goes out to you! Haha! The only advice I have is to try and unpack the boxes as soon as you can to get it looking like a home 🙂 That’s what really helped me to get settled in and that freed up my mind for other things! I’m so glad you understand that struggle too! Thank you for your comment!
Glad you found time to write again! Its hard when you can’t find time for something you love.
Thank you, Erin! It really is and I’m so grateful to be getting back to “normal” again 🙂
Thanks for being back and sharing your moving process.
I am thinking of the moving here 54 years ago and now it is really time to reorganize and prioritize-glad you are doing it early in life.
Betty
Betty,
Thank you! It’s good to be back! It’s been fun having this chance at reorganizing again!
