Some Friends Are Not Forever

I was having a great conversation with someone a while ago on the topic of friendships and I was reminded of an article I wrote back in 2014. I remember when I wrote this piece it had helped to bring clarity, insight, and depth to the friendships I had in my life at the time.

Writing this article was hard at the time but it gave me great insight and, strangely enough, permission. Permission to not put the pressure all on myself for a friendship to survive. In Matthew 22 we are commanded to “‘Love your neighbor as yourself'” and loving yourself sometimes means placing healthy boundaries in your relationships. This, in turn, is giving yourself the same grace and respect you give the other person.

I hope this article can do the same for you!

Yes. Wholeheartedly, Christianity divulges Faith in being what The Lord taught us for all. Christianity ties our hearts to God and His Love for us all. Without sharing His teachings on being a friend, our friendships cease. You shall place your Lord God before all others. Your brother, he is next. Forever we all shall instill our Love through others. The Bible states this very clearly.
